Designing a pen
A pen is a deceptively hard object: everyone has held thousands, so anything slightly wrong about the proportion or the balance reads immediately. The work went from concept sketches through form studies to a rendered set of views, including the barrel separated into its parts.
No mechanism to hide behind. The whole design is surface, weight, and where your fingers land.
