Jacobs School
Coursework at the Jacobs School, where the constraint is the interesting part: a 12" cube, a fixed material list, and eighty other teams solving the same problem.
Mechanical design competition
A team of four, a 12" cube, and a task: move hacky sacks and marbles into seesaws with custom end cups. 4th of 80 teams, Best Design Award.
I led Onshape CAD and oversaw manufacturing inside the provided material list (acrylic, metal scrap, basic hardware), designing linkages and assemblies for precise manipulation and structural integrity.
Pendulum clock
A working pendulum clock in laser-cut acrylic with a custom escapement wheel. Precise mechanical timing and tolerancing, taken through the full cycle: concept, design, manufacture, assembly, test.
